Allergy Testing and Treatment
Our bodies respond differently to allergies. Often, a person may not know that he or she is allergic to a substance, because they do not realize that certain symptoms that they are suffering from are actually allergic reactions. Indicators such as sneezing, skin rashes, asthma, watery or itchy eyes and nose, as well as nasal congestion are obvious signs of a possible allergy. However, those suffering from depression, palpitations, fatigue, joint pains, blood sugar, and digestive problems may all be reacting to allergens as well.
At WHNE, we aim to uncover the cause of the allergy and treat it at its root. Unlike the traditional allergy treatment of providing medication to suppress the symptoms, we begin by administering intradermal skin testing in order to determine the source of the allergy. These tests, and the subsequent reactions, allow WHNE to find natural medical approaches to treat and reduce allergic reactions allowing our patients to breathe easier and live a more unrestricted and healthier life.
With the changing seasons, the causes of certain allergies tend to shift as well. To find out more about what allergens may be affecting your body, contact WHNE for a consultation.
