Office Policies

Our office policies are designed to assure that we are able to provide the quality of care you expect and that all of our patients are able to receive their care promptly, with minimal waiting times.

Office Hours: Our offices are open Monday - Friday. Detailed hours can be found on our Locations page.  We do not offer weekend hours, but we do have some extended evening hours available.

Payment: Please check with your insurance company to see what services are covered by your policy. You are responsible for confirming that your insurance will cover the treatment you receive here.

Services that are not covered by your insurance must be paid at the time of the visit. We accept Cash, Master Card, Visa, personal and travelers checks.

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel an appointment please leave a general voice mail message. We have a late cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel an appointment with a practitioner 24 hours prior to your appointment a $35.00 fee will be charged to you.

If you cancel without adequate notice or fail to appear for your appointment, you will be responsible for a cancellation fee, up to the full visit charge.

For Chelation Patients - If you fail to cancel an appointment without adequate notice or fail to appear for your infusion, you will be responsible for a cancellation fee.

Punctuality:
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to all your WHNE appointments including your infusions. If you are going to be a late, it is best to call the front desk and let us know. If you arrive 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment, you may not receive your full visit time since practitioners see patients as they are scheduled. We apologize for the times that practitioners run late, but we cannot project if they will be late for your appointment.

Infusion visits are scheduled in 15 minute time slots. We ask that you call the office if you will be delayed, and we will have to reschedule any patients more than five minutes late for and Infusion appointment. A new appointment time can typically be accomodated in the same business day.

Medical History:
The medical history form should be filled out before your first appointment. These forms can be downloaded on our New Patient Information page, or can be completed in the office. We highly reccomend completing these forms prior to your first WHNE visit.

General Voice mail messages are checked before the start of each day and throughout the day. We will take your message and give it to an appropriate staff member to fill your request.

Parking: Parking is limited in the parking lot behind our 180 Massachusetts Avenue. However there are several two-hour spaces on Massachusetts Avenue, as well as several non-permit/no time limit spaces on the side streets.

There is handicap parking in the front of the 345 Court Street building, patients may use the front entrace from this lot. All other parking is in the rear of the building, with a seperate entrance.

Laboratory Tests:  WholeHealth New England is not responsible for the billing of any specialty laboratory tests ordered by your practitioner.  Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp will bill labs to most insurance plans, however some kits not be covered by insurance.

Our office staff has done most of the research on the insurance coverage of speciality lab kits and will assist you on completing the required requisitions. However, it will be your responsiblity to call each lab if you have further insurance coverage questions. Be sure to include your insurance information on the requisition form, or, if necessary, enclose the payment with your specimen.
